25 and 18 November 2023, Barabanki and Unnao districts, Uttar Pradesh
To deepen the consciousness of the local students in the Barabanki and Unaao districts on child rights, awareness sessions were organized. The first of the two events was held on 25 November 2023 in Sanauli, Barabanki district, which dwelt on work being done by the government to strengthen child rights. The session also shared knowledge of the efforts being undertaken by organizations like UNICEF in this regard. In this context, a presentation was delivered on the evolution of child rights, major child rights, child protection schemes, gender equality, and inclusion. The session attracted 56 students. On 18 November 2023, a similar initiative was organized in the Unnao district to disseminate knowledge on child rights among, which reached 50 students.
