23 and 6 April 2023, Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh
Social Xleration conducted an event on April 23, 2023, in the Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh with the aim of advancing the welfare and education of young girls. The attendees were given an introduction to Social Xleration and also informed about initiatives such as ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ and its objectives. The event was attended by 42 villagers besides three facilitators. To build on its earlier child rights awareness initiative, Social Xleration held a discussion session on 6th April 2023 at the Sonikpur Composite School in the Bharawan block of Hardoi district. The session covered the evolution of Child Rights, the different types of Child Rights, Child Protection Scheme and Child Welfare Committee, violence against children, child marriage, child labor, executions, and challenges. This discussion was attended by 40 teachers and students alongside three facilitators.
