14 and 11 February 2023, Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh
An information and discussion session on Inclusive Education was held by Social Xleration on 11 February 2023 in Janigaon, Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh, with the objective of enhancing the inclusion of differently-abled students in the education system. The program was designed to make the local population aware of the subject. The session covered the general concept of inclusion as well as its brief history. It also dwelled on the shift from the term ‘Disabled’ to ‘Differently abled’ or ‘Divyang (in Hindi)’, and the benefits of Inclusive Education. The program was attended by 30 children. A similar event was held on 14 February 2023 at Site 4 in Janigaon, Hardoi district. This event saw the presence of 36 women and children and three facilitators.
