Social Xleration put together an awareness session on the Covid-19 Pandemic at Akbarpur village, Unnao District (Uttar Pradesh) on 30th May 2021. This session was specifically targeted at children, who are also vulnerable to the disease amid concerns of the third wave of the pandemic that may hit the country in the near future. The session was attended by 52 people that included mainly children and their elders. The session focused on the dissemination of preventive aspects and a presentation of the good public health practices to enable people to protect themselves from the COVID-19 Pandemic. The participants were also taught how to wash their hands with soap, how to use hand sanitizer, and how to put on a mask. They were handed masks and hand sanitizers at the end of the event.
