Orientation Program Focused on Promoting Inclusion of Girl Students Conducted

15 and 14 July 2022, Barabanki and Hardoi districts, Uttar Pradesh

A one-day orientation program titled “Girls Education: Its Importance and Significance” was held at Composite School in Sanauli, Baniknodar Block of the Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh on 15 July 2022. Together with their teachers, 72 students from classes VI, VII, and VIII attended the program. The session covered the history and significance of education generally while also talking about the definition, significance, and current state of girls’ education, as well as the major challenges and issues that accompany it. Mr. Shirish Chaturvedi, School Head Master, Mr. Sudhanshu Trivedi, a Consultant, and three students from the school managed the entire session and presentations.

Continuing the thrust on inclusive education, a program on the same was organized at Composite School, Sonikpur of Hardoi district on 14 July 2022 in which 65 students from classes VI to VIII participated. The session discussed inclusive education for children in terms of its concept, meaning, definition, characteristics, scope, need, principles, importance, and challenges. The session also covered what qualifications a teacher must have to provide an inclusive education.
