28 and 19 December 2022, Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh
An awareness event for child rights was organized in Sonikpur village of Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh, on 28 December 2022. At the event, a brief history of child rights was discussed. In addition, child rights, child protection schemes, child welfare committees, violence against children, child marriage, and child labor, their implementation, and challenges. Almost 300 students attended the session, with 10 teachers helping with the event, alongside six facilitators. A similar event for the local population was held at Janigaon village of Hardoi district on 19 December 2022, which was attended by 30 local people.
