Experts working in the area of disability reveal that People with Disability (PwDs) are one of most vulnerable sections of the population and face numerous concerns. One big issue that they face is the difficulty in accessing food. This situation gets exacerbated for PWDs who are homeless or abandoned. It leaves them vulnerable to malnutrition and disease. Taking this into consideration, Social Xleration alongside Sai Sankaar Foundation, made a modest contribution in form a donation drive in Delhi on 6 June 2023, wherein abandoned and homeless PWDs were provided with nutritious ration packets with the aim of assuaging their issue a little. Through this effort, 50 people were covered under this drive.
