Sai Sanskar Foundation, a Delhi-based partner organization of Social Xleration operates a school for underprivileged children from five slums. The effort called ‘Paathshala’ focuses on providing education to these children besides offering them nutrition and other support. On the occasion of Republic Day 2021, around 150 children from Paathsala and other children from low-income families were brought together to make them aware of the significance of Republic Day. Various programs were held on the occasion. A key activity was to get these children to make the national flag. The program wound up with the serving of refreshments to the children. On the occasion, Sai Sanskar Foundation’s team also visited children at the Institution for Blind, Andh Vidyalaya in Delhi, and raised awareness on Republic Day with around 45 visually challenged children. These children were also offered refreshments towards the end of the program.
