There are various areas in Pithoragarh district in the hill state of Uttarakhand, which are remote, with poor access, and hence, children in these areas are bereft of a proper and conducive educational environment. One of the critical aspects of this situation is difficulty in arranging stationery material and writing registers for the school students. To fulfill this demand, Social Xleration with its partner organization, Sai Sanskar Foundation made stationery material and writing registers available to the 1,000 students of various schools in the district. These schools include GHSS Simalkot, GHSS Ghargaon, KNUGMIC Pithoragarh, GIC Bhateri, Government High School Nwali, GIC Kamleshwar, and GIC Bharkatiya. Besides, GIC Kumdar is donated stationery material every year. The principals and teachers with the students expressed their thanks to both the organizations for this gesture.
