14 and 24 March 2022, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
On 14 March 2022, Social Xleration hosted an awareness program for school children at the Higher Primary School, Uthratiya, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in order to sustain its focus on creating awareness of child rights among all stakeholders. The Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS), also known as the Child Protection Scheme (CPS), was the subject of a presentation. There was also a brief talk about children’s rights (Right to Survival, Right to Develop, Right to Participate, and Right to Protection) and children who qualify for Child Protection Services (Children in Adverse Situations). It was also addressed which departments/committees are responsible in the implementation of the ICPS or CPS. The session drew a total of 50 students. A similar event was also held at a private Coaching Center of Village Janigaon, Block Kothawan, District Hardoi, UP on 24 March, 2022, which was attended by 30 students and 40 villagers.
