Social Xleration held an awareness workshop in Naya Tola village, Angara block, Ranchi district, Jharkhand, on the five major government initiatives on June 26, 2021. The government develops welfare schemes for a wide range of individuals in the country with the goal of addressing a variety of issues that rural people encounter. Many people, particularly in rural regions, are still unaware of all of these programs. Social Xleration took the initiative to raise public awareness about five major programs that directly assist rural people. The session was attended by 50 local people. The covered schemes comprised Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY), Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (ABPMJAY), and National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP). The eligibility criteria, significant aspects of each plan, and how and where to apply were discussed through this event.
