17 and 18 December 2020, Malkangiri District, Odisha
Maintaining its thrust on making continual healthcare available to the local populace in the hinterlands of Malkangiri district in Odisha, Social Xleration held general health camps for villagers in partnership with the district administration. The locations were zeroed in since they are one of the most resource deprived areas in the region. More than 770 villagers were examined during the camps held on 17th and 18th December 2020. These camps mainly tested for common ailments and particular concerns of the villagers. The medical team comprised Dr. Samir Goldar, along with pharmacists from the District Hospital, Malkangiri. The camps covered people from various villages including Nuaguda, Purnapani, Paliguda, Bardabandha, Khiloguda, and Raginiguda. The patients were provided appropriate medicines as per their requirements. The camps also generated awareness on prevention of various diseases, precautions, and maintaining health lifestyle.
