8 and 4 July 2023, Lucknow and Barabanki districts, Uttar Pradesh
Continuing the emphasis on strengthening girls’ education, an event was held at Uchchtar Prathmik Vidyalaya in Utrathiya, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh On July 8th, 2023 to further the education for girls. During the event, attendees were given a recap of the last orientation on Balika Shiksha. The event also covered important information on the “Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao” campaign, including its background, major objectives, and the concerned authorities responsible for implementing the campaign. The event, which was attended by 40 students, was an informative and important opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of education for girls and to promote gender equality in India. A similar session was held on July 4th, 2023 at Composite School in Sanauli, Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh to raise awareness about the Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao campaign, which saw the participation of 42 students.
