29 and 22 November 2022, Pilibhit and Hardoi districts, Uttar Pradesh
Every year on November 20, World Children’s Day—originally known as Universal Children’s Day—is observed in an effort to foster global understanding, raise children’s consciousness, and enhance their welfare. The year 2022 had the slogan “Inclusion, for every child.” On 22 November 2022, Social Xleration staged an awareness-building event with 35 children in the Janigaon village of the Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh to commemorate the occasion. The event’s goal was to raise awareness of World Children’s Day among the local populace of its relevance and importance. Children’s rights, UNICEF’s role, and the significance of the color blue were also discussed during the event. With 30 scouts, a similar event was held at Drumund College in the Uttar Pradesh district of Pilibhit on 29 November 2022.
